New Episodes of “Love Over Kpop” releasing over the next several weeks (Kindle Vella Serial by Marilyn Vix)

Greetings everyone. I hope you are having a fantastic spring after this crazy, wet winter. The one thing about being inside so much, it’s great writing weather. It’s allowed me to get into my writing projects that are in progress, and really get back into the business of writing. So, I’m happy to say, I’ve been swinging back into high gear to get into the editing and rewriting process for my Kindle Vella Serial. It’s called “Love Over Kpop“, and I’ve been basically rewriting a finished manuscript and turning it into a serial for the Vella platform. It is a bit different than I normally write. I’ve been working on this manuscript for the last 6 years. It’s a sweeter romance than I usually do, not my fault, the characters did that. They kept closing the door on me. But I respected their wishes. That’s why I found it might work better on the Kindle Vella platform than as a regular ebook. Besides, it’s been fun to try something new out to motivate me in my writing process.

I’ve been having a fabulous time writing it, and want to invite you to join me in my Kpop world. I interned at a radio station in PR and loved the behind the scenes. I also got offered a job on a plane to work at a PR firm down in LA on my way to live in Paris. Unfortunately, I didn’t follow up since I was in my Paris-student part of life, but I’ve always wondered if I did, what would have happened. This has been kind of my answer. I’ve also been getting the Kpop obsession out of my system.

First three episodes are free. After that, slight paywall. Works like Radish and other paid story programs. The money is helping to pay for the editing of each episode (which like everything else, has gone up now.) But there are comments now that you can add to the episodes. So, I’d love to hear what you all think. You can become part of the process as I’m working through this rewrite of the finished manuscript.

Blurb:

Trish Russo moves to LA as a new assistant for an American Kpop agency. When she convinces the moody kpop star, Woo In-ho to come out of his trailer at a video shoot, she is asked by the agency to accompany him up the California coast for a special personal event. During the drive, Trish gets to know Woo In-ho. Her feelings start to become entangled with him making her jeopardize her career. Will she be able to keep her job while being involved with the Kpop star she’s assigned to oversee?

Also, I have a new project on Wattpad that is just keeping my mind nimble and letting me have a bit of fun. Plus, I’d wanted to work on a project that I’ve had in mind for awhile, a ghost hunting/paranormal investigating novel. It’s called “Confessions of a Wannabe Ghost Hunter“. Not sure if this will turn into a romance or not, but likely, it may. I’m just getting it out of my system by doing a first draft on Wattpad, which is great for this. It motivates me to try to get an episode up each week or even biweekly. Sometimes, just having something that motivates you to sit down and write helps all your other projects. If you’d like to check it out, it is FREE on Wattpad. It hasn’t been edited. So, it is my raw, first draft writing, if you want to see what that is like.

I also have an entire full novel called “Saving My Heart” that is also on Wattpad. It’s a billionaire/work romance, which has gone a bit out of style lately. I wrote it starting in 2015, and have gone through several drafts now. It was another bit of fun and to help me get through my heart attack by doing some writing therapy, ie saving my heart. If you’d like to check them out, here is my Marilyn Vix Wattpad Account link below.

So, that is basically my spring project update. I hope all is well in your life with your family and friends, and that my writing lends you a time to escape maybe from all of that. Please feel free to comment and follow both my Vella serial and Wattpad account. I’d love to hear from you. I love reading comments and seeing those likes. It all helps me keep writing.

Until next time,

Marilyn
